#WhatCharactersWouldYouBe?

If you could be one of the characters from any of your books, who would it be and why?

Do you identify with the characters you write?

#Characters

Characters:

As writers we always have our favorite characters. Many of the traits are derived from what we believe and feel. As a romance writer it’s always easy to follow in love with the hero and perhaps love to be the heroine. However, sometimes the hero and heroine are so flawed no one would want to be that character. Others have such a delightful personality it might be possible to say, “I would like to be that character.” Because my heroes tend to be larger than life, I believe it very possible to fall in love with them, at least when I’m writing his story.

Many times in a romance the hero and the heroine adapt and change so they become even more lovable as the novel continues.

Mystery/Suspense

The perfect incarnation of Sherlock Holmes could be the character in an author’s novel they might want to become. The protagonist in the story who solves every case and rescues anyone who might be in jeopardy could be the character to become.

Is your larger than life character one to emulate?

Tell us why and don’t forget to leave a link where we can take a look at your latest release. Or give us a hint of why this is a character you would like to become.

Ripped from her family at the top of Infinity Cliff, Kimi McKenna finds herself thrust somewhere into the future. Dark elements threaten to destroy the earth unless Kimi can work together with the white witch to stop the destruction. Confused by her mate’s role in the conspiracy, she refuses to acknowledge the connection. But amidst raging fire and attacks on the people she is coming to hold dear, she allows Maska O’keefe into her heart.

Maska O’keefe has loved the beautiful shapeshifter for years. Unable to save her life years ago, he vows to watch over her as he is given a second chance to convince her that even though he is a witch and not a shifter, they are indeed soul mates. Kimi’s divided loyalties between her family and the cause she is now a part of will determine their relationship. Only the part she plays as the messiah can bring this to a conclusion in the final battle.
