Question: Who would play your leading character?

I’ve always asked this question on interviews I do with authors but have never really thought about it for my books. Having written almost thirty books, I’ve never really thought about this. Following movies and stars has never been important to me but I know for others they can answer this very easily. If I asked my daughters they could most likely give me possible choices. Even though this isn’t something I do, I think it would be fun to see some of your answers.

Writing mostly historical romances I know I would want amazingly intriguing men and women to play the parts. Also most of my stories include villains. Villains it seems would be the most fun characters to play. They are the most fun to write simply because a writer can do anything with them. The bad guy never has standards to live up to unless those standards are evil ones.

Question: What novel and what characters would you want to cast and who do you think would be the best actor to play them.
