 Thanksgiving and

The Continuing Saga…

Wow, last Sunday was a beautiful day in Ashland, Oregon. We took our granddaughter and ‘adorable’ dog for a walk in Lithia Park. So many people think Rogue is cute and many guess he is part sheba. We know what a rascal he is.

Monday we left my parents home and stopped for lunch to see my son and our grandson. He is such a cute little guy. He just learned how to turn over from his back to his front and seems to enjoy the new form of exercise. Sub sandwiches a few hours later we are the road again and headed to Salem. Traffic wasn’t too bad.

Tuesday was a nice jazzercise workout and a short walk on the treadmill. I’m trying to get more exercise but with the winter weather it’s proving more difficult. It just takes a greater effort and the will to get out in the rain and cold or make the drive into Salem.

Wednesday I cleaned house. As with the Disney movie, I was hoping for some forest creatures to help out with the house work. Alas, none showed up. I should have headed into the courthouse to run on the treadmill but I chose to be lazy. Should have done it.

Thursday, what a wonderful Thanksgiving with my son-in-law’s family. We’ve never done that before because we always had our own dinner on that day. My other son-in-law made it home from New York. At one point we were worried about the weather but all went smooth.

Friday we had our Thanksgiving. I really don’t know what day of the week it is anymore. I ate so much I gained two pounds. Now I have to work it off. Weigh in is Tuesday and it’s not going to be pretty. But the food was really good and our family was all there.

Saturday was a jazzercise day but I had to keep reminding myself it really was Saturday. So this bobble head bought herself a Keurig and I’m having a horrible time going from regular coffee to the k-cups. I always forget something and have water shooting everywhere. I even forgot to put the cup in the maker to collect the coffee. Sigh…

How did your week go?
