Christine ~ Portland Zoo ~ Go There
A trip to the Portland Zoo with my family on the hottest day of the year so far. The zoo is such a great place to spend the day. The children have so much fun looking at the animals. The zoo is now embarking on a huge elephant area. It transverses the back of the zoo. Right now the train isn’t running but I’m guessing it will go through the elephant area when all is finished. They have plans for a larger polar bear area.
I love the cats. They were mostly sleeping when we saw them. It was 90 degrees so they were the smartest animals in the zoo.
