This is a very interesting question. For the four listed below, the first thing they would all grab is family. They love deeply and forever, so would never risk their own lives for anything other than what’s really important.
Loves of our Lives
Katie – the locket that was given to her by John; and given to her prior incarnation Catherine by Jonathon. The locket is her link to her soul mate and represents her link to her past lives.
John – His camera. It is his passion to explore with his camera in tow.
Love by Knight
Kelly – Sandy the dog, and her St Michael medallions that were her fathers. The medallion is her link to her father and her connection that led to the discovery of her Knights Templar roots.
Neil – the electronic records of the Carter Family’s long history and connection to the Knights Templar. The long history of the Carters is so important to them; hard earned and meaningful to the entire clan. The records had been lost too often in the past for them to be risked.

What do you find to be the most challenging part of writing? And the most rewarding?
The most challenging part of writing is the re-writing and editing. Keeping the energy up to find errors when you’ve reread your own work multiple times requires lots of focus.
The most rewarding part is talking to people who have read the book and felt a connection to the characters. When you hear that something you wrote has touched someone, that’s a great feeling!

Which writers inspire you?
There are a number that have inspired me to write. From a non-fiction side I have to mention Dr. Brian Weiss as it was his books that introduced me to the entire past lives field. In the romance genre I would say Jane Austen is the inspiration for my historical side. I love the rhythm of her works. I have always been an avid reader, and count myself a fan of pretty much every author I’ve read.
